Author Robert Dean Lurie is a musician, writer and historian. We crashed his book signing at the Mansion on O Street in DC. He recently wrote about R.E.M. and their early years. He reads the beginning of the book to us, talks about his time as a college student in Athens, Georgia and explains more on how his interest in the band peaked.
