Episode 135: Lollapalooza ’91

July 18, 2017

  • Butthole Surfers “Human Cannonball” Latino Bugger Veil, 1986
  • Living Colour “Cult of Personality” Sony Music Entertainment, 1995
  • Jane’s Addiction “Jane Says (Live)” Triple X Records, 1987

This is Randall Brown’s second appearance on RTS. He’s that guy from the Tennessee-based rock monster called Quartjar (they do the intro theme to pretty much each and every episode) and he likes to buy records.

The first ever Lollapalooza went from July to August 1991 and spanned across the United States. In this episode Patrick, Jim, guest Randall Brown reminisce on the tour with help from a few callers.

The lineup from 1991 included acts such as the Butthole Surfers, Ice-T and Body Count, Jane’s Addiction and many, many more legendary acts!
