Day three of Elvis Costello week. Today, Jim and Patrick, along with guest Mike Snider (making his fifth, count ’em, appearance), analyze Costello’s third studio album Armed Forces.

FUN FACT: According to engineer Roger Bechirian, who worked with Costello on Armed Forces, “Most of this record was written in hotel rooms or on a tour bus. Every shop front or nightclub sign seemed like a line from a song.”
