Today, Jim and Patrick read through emails sent by listeners about Tom Petty’s music, and his sense of humor! Phil Ingrassia joins the duo on the show as well and David Malitz, deputy features editor at the Washington Post, also chimes in with his thoughts.

FUN FACT: According to biographer Warren Zanes, Tom Petty’s first solo album, Full Moon Fever, was originally turned down by his record label, MCA. It would later go on to be certified 5x platinum by the RIAA on October 5, 2000.
