On October 24, 2017,  Antoine “Fats” Domino passed away due to natural causes at the age of 89. In today’s episode, Jim and Patrick reflect on the rock-n-roll pioneer, his chart toppers and the musicians that idolized him; all of the aspects that made Fats a true icon in the music industry.

FUN FACT: It’s no surprise that Fats inspired so many rock-n-roll musicians that we know and love today. John Lennon is no exception. He covered a Fats Domino song on his 1975 ‘covers’ album Rock ‘n’ Roll with the track “Ain’t That a Shame.”
