Notes:

We dive into the “Asylum years” of Warren Zevon, with listener Hunter Bennett!

After writing for other acts successfully, and kicking off his solo career rather poorly, Zevon becomes a bandleader for the Everly Brothers. He ends up meeting Jackson Browne, a fan of Zevon’s music, who helps him improve his singing with the help of a rather unorthodox vocal coach. And well… the rest is history.
