• The Mountain Goats “The Best Ever Death Metal Band in Denton” All Hail West Texas (Emperor Jones) 2002

Notes:

The Mountain Goats are our inaugural group in our latest series designed to introduce listeners to bands they have heard of, but might not know where to start with their catalogue.

Recorded LIVE at Suburbs Fest with Scot Isom, Aaron Houx, Matt Carlson and Patrick Foster. We push ahead to the fourth song, the gripping composition “The Best Ever Death Metal Band in Denton.”
