  • The Temptations “Papa Was A Rolling Stone” All Directions (Gordy) 1972

Notes:

The founder of Rolling Stone, Jann Wenner, is selling the magazine despite turning down offers to buy the magazine in the past (some as high as $500 million). In today’s episode, Jim and Patrick remember how they discovered Rolling Stone in their early youth, and they also look back on the magazine’s most notorious achievements and failures.

FUN FACT: Rolling Stone Magazine’s first issue in 1967 featured Beatles singer John Lennon on the cover.
