Notes:
If you are a veteran SuburbsPod listener, you know how much Patrick absolutely loves books (especially when they’re about music). Today, Patrick reads a ‘music novel’ about the UK record label, 4AD. They’re an important record label in the UK, with a classic roster that included Bauhaus, Pixies, Cocteau Twins, Dead Can Dance and many others.
FUN FACT: Before establishing the label as 4AD, founders Watts Russell and Peter Kent originally launched in 1979 under the name Axis Records.
