In another iteration of our series where we look at first releases under iconic labels, we dive into the beginning of Stiff Records. The label was formed by Dave Robinson and Jake Riviera in 1976. In August of that year, “So It Goes” with  “Heart Of The City” on the b-side became the first Stiff record. It was given the catalogue number BUY 1.
