Welcome to Episode 1000 of the pod! We mad it and couldn’t have done it without you, our faithful listeners. We celebrate this milestone with a special interview. Rick Nielsen, lead guitarist and primary songwriter for the legendary rock band Cheap Trick, joins us for a two-part interview.

In part 1, Rick talks about growing up in a musical family, getting kicked out of his junior high school band, deciding to remain in Rockford IL after achieving stardom among other topics.
